| While it is okay for this little boy to kiss his puppy it is not a safe practice for a child to try to kiss a dog that does not belong to him. |

| A child should never lean over a dog that is not his own. These two belong to each other but even so there is always an adult family member close by while they play. |
| Mom knows dog is comfortable with child giving a tummy rub. Note the dog is laying still and not trying to move away. Body is in comfortable down position with no tightening of leg muscles. Dog also has mouth open and relaxed showing lips long and no tension. Eyes are soft. Dog is showing no concern over child and is in fact watching unstressful activity of a known person unloading a truck. |
