Karl's Kids was invited to work with the 2008 One Book One Putnam Planning Committee as a community partner. Our part was in researching and drawing what we believed Buck the main character in the book The Call of the Wild looked like and to supply coloring pages and artwork for several activities.

11:00 – 2:00 See snow!  Eat a free ice cream bars!  Pick up a free copy of Call of the Wild! Jumpy Booth, Obstacle Course, Art Activities, Pet Adopt-a-Thon (sponsored by the Humane Society).  Food and drinks.

KsKs sponsored a Doggy Comfort Sation with individual water and disposable bowls. Clean up bags/paper towels were available at the Doggy Relief Station also set up by KsKs.
