Waveland, MS was hit very hard by
Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Karl's Kids
was able to send well over 1,000 toys
to make Christmas a little bit happier
for a lot of children. Some notable
citizens of the great State Of Mississippi
heard what we wanted to do and
offered to help with transporting and
handing out these gifts.

Toys came from several areas but the
vast majority were donated by many
caring people in Pennsylvania.
They were shipped down to Mississippi
where they were held in storage while
plans were made on how to distribute
them to so many children. A huge
Christmas party was held and soft
plush toys were given to a lot of very
happy kids.
This was one of several toy
disbursements through Chimo's
Cuddles Activities in December 2005.
